league Rules

Concerns, issues or objections to the rules can be addressed in the following ways:

1. Address the Founding Fathers directly via the speech bubble on this website.

2. Share your pathetic complaint with DIV TV presenter Tom Chambers, who will whip up a frenzied public scandal that the Founding Fathers will address.

3. In reality, bugger off, if you are not happy go and create your own league!

Playing Season

- Each season will last 6 playing months (2x 3 months - Part A and Part B)

- Each player will be required to complete a minimum of 2 rounds per month for 6 months

- To complete a round you must play with any other DIV Golf member (must be advertised on the WhatsApp group). A Baa Baa can play in place of a fully fledged DIV member (DIV members must take priority)

- All games must be played at ManDiv Executive Course

- All scores cards need to be published on the Grint. Any errors please photograph and post on the Whatsapp group after a round is completed.

- No mulligans or par/birdie putt gimmies

- Players must not only record their own playing score but also the number of putts taken at each hole (this total needs to be recorded on the scorecard)

The winning team from Part A will play against the winning team from Part B on finals day. If the same team wins both Part A and Part B, the team with the combined highest score over Part A and Part B will qualify for the final.

- A one off game will determine the Season winners (Match Play)

Scoring

- All scores will be recorded but the lowest two Individual scores will count per month

- Putting competition scored as above. Please note only putts taken on the green count towards your total.

Teams

- Teams are determined by the Founding Fathers

- Each team will have a Captain

Handicaps

- Each player will be issued a handicap at the start of each playing month by Oli Brown on behalf of the Founding Fathers although they are generated by the Super Computer.

Penalties

- Failure to complete a round results in a 40 point individual penalty score and a 20 point penalty putting score.

- Failure to complete a round due to inclement weather, an average score will be provided (penalty stroke for each hole not completed)

- An appeal in written or video format will be considered by the Founding Fathers. A decision will be made in 30 days From the submission of the appeal.

*From Season VI onwards the Founding Fathers, at their want, may introduce themed rounds for example the 3 club challenge
