league Rules

Concerns, issues or objections to the rules can be addressed in the following ways:

1. Share your pathetic moan with your team captain, who can raise directly with the Founding Fathers.

2. Address the Founding Fathers directly via the speech bubble on this website.

3. Share your pathetic complaint with DIV TV presenter Tom Chambers, who will whip up a frenzied public scandal that the Founding Fathers will address.

Playing Season

- Each season will last 3 months

- Each player will be required to complete a minimum of 2 rounds per month for 3 months

- To complete a round you must play with any other DIV Golf member (must be advertised on the WhatsApp group)

- All games must be played at ManDiv Executive Course

- All scores cards need to be photographed and posted on the Whatsapp group after a round is completed.

- Each player is entitled to one mulligan per round (only to be used with a tee shot).

- Players must not only record their own playing score but also the number of putts taken at each hole (this total needs to be recorded on the scorecard)

Scoring

- All scores will be recorded but the lowest two Individual scores will count per month

- Putting competition scored as above. Please note only putts taken on the green count towards your total.

Teams

- Teams are determined by the Founding Fathers

- Each team will have a Captain

Handicaps

- Each player will be issued a handicap at the start of each playing month by the Founding Fathers. The delivery of handicaps will be presented in a variety of ways, the FF's will not be held responsible for any offence taken in the presentation of these handicaps.

Penalties

- Failure to complete a round results in a 40 point individual penalty score and a 20 point penalty putting score.

- Failure to complete a round due to inclement weather, an average score will be provided (penalty stroke for each hole not completed)

- An appeal in written or video format will be considered by the Founding Fathers. A decision will be made in 30 days From the submission of the appeal.

Additional Rule

- Season 3 will see the introduction of a mandatory one round of glow golf at Mandai during the final month of competition (Captains to decide if this feature continues into Season IV) 

- Normal rules apply to this round although tee times must not be booked earlier than 6:40pm

- The Founding Fathers will review at the end of the season if Glow Golf will remain part of DIV Golf.
