CNY Scramble 24th February 2024

What a day! Great weather, excellent fancy dress, some fantastic golf, a close team competition, outstanding prizes and a fantastic social event for all.

The draw had been made earlier in the week and led to the following pairs:

At the ManDiv scramble earlier in the year, new boy Fletch won a host of awards, and it was a fellow Pin Pirate, Mike Patterson (Patty), who dominated the individual awards at the CNY scramble. The team event was a close encounter with only 3 points separating the top 3 sides. Clearly Oli and James didn't read the script of the birthday boy and won the magnificent DIV Golf scramble belt by one point from Richard and Tom.

Lovely to see the new members of the group receive their club ties and magnificent to see everyone wearing their No 1's at the awards ceremony and in our new club house (Sara's). Well done to those who bravely fought through to 4am in search of some indoor golf at 5 iron!
