Due to a ferry ticket mishap Day 1 involved Oli Brown, Ross Martin and Richard Sellers getting a Friday afternoon ferry across to Bintan to soak up the pre-match atmosphere and prepare for the big match the following day

Although DIV TV anchor Tom Chambers was unavailable fr the tournament due to the chaperoning of young ladies at a party he kindly shared the pairings for the matches. The results were
